The app already enforces this, but the spirit matters as much as the mechanics. Do not try to make a place look busier than it is, and do not post something that misrepresents where you are or what is happening there.

Respect the people around you

احترم من حولك

You are photographing in public places, and other people are in them. If someone makes clear they do not want to be in your photo, do not post it. Do not photograph anyone in a way that would embarrass or endanger them.

أنت تلتقط الصور في أماكن عامة يوجد فيها أشخاص آخرون. فإذا أوضح أحدهم أنه لا يريد الظهور في صورتك، فلا تنشرها. ولا تصوّر أحدًا بطريقة تُحرجه أو تعرّضه للخطر.

Never photograph children who are not yours. Ordinary photos of your own family and kids — at the beach, in swimwear, anywhere — are fine.

لا تصوّر أبدًا أطفالًا ليسوا أطفالك. أمّا الصور العادية لعائلتك وأطفالك — على البحر، بلباس السباحة، في أي مكان — فلا بأس بها.

What gets your account removed

No warnings for any of this:

• Child exploitation, or any sexual content involving a minor — the account is locked at once and it is reported to the authorities
• استغلال الأطفال، أو أي محتوى جنسي يتضمّن قاصرًا — ويُقفل الحساب فورًا ويُبلَّغ عنه إلى السلطات
• Intimate images of a person without their consent, including images made with AI — hidden at once on the first report

• Violence or graphic content

• Hate speech, or promoting extremist or terrorist groups

Nudity (bare breasts or genitals) is not allowed — swimwear is fine. A photo like that is refused on your phone before it uploads. If it keeps happening within 30 days: a notice, a reminder, posting paused for 24 hours, then for 7 days, then the account is locked for review.

العُري (ظهور الصدر أو الأعضاء التناسلية) غير مسموح — ولباس السباحة لا بأس به. وتُرفض صورة كهذه على جوالك قبل رفعها. وإن تكرّر ذلك خلال 30 يومًا: تنبيه، ثم تذكير، ثم إيقاف النشر 24 ساعة، ثم 7 أيام، ثم يُقفل الحساب للمراجعة.

Video stories follow every rule above. A story video is recorded live with the camera, up to 25 seconds, is checked on your phone before it uploads, and disappears after 4 hours (or the time a VIP member picks, up to 24). Report and Block are on every video, and one that breaks these rules is removed and treated like a photo that does.

What gets a post removed

• Advertising or promoting a business or a product — Nowly shows no ads at the moment
• الإعلان عن نشاط تجاري أو منتج أو الترويج له — فلا يعرض Nowly أي إعلانات حاليًا
• Spam, or the same content posted repeatedly
• المحتوى المزعج، أو نشر المحتوى نفسه مرارًا
• Content that clearly was not taken where it claims
• محتوى يتّضح أنه لم يُلتقط في المكان الذي يدّعيه
• Someone's private information — a phone number, an address, a document
• معلومات خاصة بشخص ما — كرقم هاتف أو عنوان أو وثيقة
• A comment written to sell something rather than to say something
• تعليق كُتب لبيع شيء، لا لقول شيء
• Messaging somebody to sell them something
• مراسلة شخص بهدف بيعه شيئًا
• Following someone back only to message them, then unfollowing

Comments

Everything above applies to what you write, not only to what you photograph.

كل ما سبق ينطبق على ما تكتبه، لا على ما تصوّره فحسب.

Two things worth knowing. Whoever took the photograph can delete any comment under it, without explaining why — their moment, their call. And comments disappear when the post does.

من المفيد أن تعرف أمرين. يستطيع من التقط الصورة حذف أي تعليق تحتها، دون أن يبيّن السبب — فاللحظة لحظته، والقرار قراره. كما تختفي التعليقات باختفاء المنشور.

Write to somebody who was there, not to an audience. A comment that reads as advertising, or that has nothing to do with the place, gets removed.

اكتب لمن كان هناك، لا لجمهور. فالتعليق الذي يبدو إعلانًا، أو الذي لا علاقة له بالمكان، يُحذف.

Messages

الرسائل

By default, only mutual friends — people who follow you back — can write to you. You can open messages to Everyone in Settings, under "Who can message me". Either way, nobody reaches you unless you let them.

افتراضيًا، لا يراسلك إلا الأصدقاء المتبادلون — من يتابعونك بالمثل. ولك أن تفتح الرسائل لـ«الجميع» من الإعدادات، في «من يستطيع مراسلتي». وفي الحالين، لا يصل إليك أحد إلا إذا سمحت له.

If a conversation turns, blocking ends it immediately — you do not need our permission and you do not need to explain. Report as well if what was said breaks the guidelines, so we see the account behind it.

إذا أخذت محادثة منحى سيئًا، فإن الحظر يُنهيها فورًا — ولا تحتاج إلى إذن منا، ولا إلى تقديم أي تفسير. وأبلغ عنها أيضًا إذا كان ما قيل فيها يخالف الإرشادات، حتى نتعرّف على الحساب الذي يقف وراءها.

Everything above about photographs applies to messages. A private conversation is not a place the rules stop.

Story replies. Stories come from mutual friends. Swiping up on one sends its author a private reply only if they allow messages from you; otherwise their profile opens. A reply is a message, and every rule here applies to it.

الردّ على القصص. القصص تأتي من الأصدقاء المتبادلين. والسحب للأعلى على قصةٍ يرسل لصاحبها ردًّا خاصًّا إن سمح لك بمراسلته، وإلا فُتح ملفه. والردّ رسالة، تسري عليه كل القواعد هنا.

Lobbies

اللوبي

A lobby is a live room with text chat and voice — public, private with a secret number, or a location lobby for the people at a place. Everything on this page applies to what you say on the mic and what you write in the chat — a live room is not a place the rules stop.

اللوبي غرفة مباشرة فيها دردشة كتابية وصوت — عام، أو خاص برقم سرّي، أو لوبي لوكيشن لمن في المكان. وكل ما في هذه الصفحة ينطبق على ما تقوله على المايك وما تكتبه في الدردشة — فالغرفة المباشرة ليست مكانًا تتوقّف فيه القواعد.

On the mic

على المايك

• A lobby has eight mics (ten or twelve if its Owner takes a plan; the Majlis seats up to ten). Raise your hand to wait your turn, say your piece, then leave the mic so someone else can take it. Nobody goes up to a mic, or has it turned on, without accepting
• في اللوبي ثمانية مايكات (وعشرة أو اثنا عشر إن أخذ صاحبه خطة؛ والمجلس حتى عشرة مقاعد). ارفع يدك لتنتظر دورك، وقل ما لديك، ثم اترك المايك ليأخذه غيرك. ولا يصعد أحد إلى المايك، ولا يُفتح مايكه، إلا بقبوله
• Whoever takes a mic directly with Nowly Plus stays on it until they step down themselves or a moderator takes them off, even if their subscription ends meanwhile; the subscription is checked only at the moment the mic is taken.

• Music you play into a lobby must be yours to play: you are responsible for having the rights to it. It is heard live, Nowly does not record or keep it, anyone can report it, and the management can stop it at any moment

• If you leave the app while you are on a mic, your mic stays as you left it for up to one hour, and then Nowly leaves the lobby for you — close your mic first if you do not want to be heard

In the chat

في الدردشة

• Messages are seen by everyone present. New arrivals don't see earlier chat, and the chat is kept for 6 hours for moderation only, then erased
• يرى الرسائلَ كلُّ الحاضرين. ولا يرى القادم الجديد ما كُتب قبله، ويُحفظ الكلام 6 ساعات للإشراف وحده ثم يُمحى
• No links, and no flooding — the same message can't be sent twice in a row, nor more than one message a second, and each is up to 300 characters
• لا روابط، ولا إغراق للدردشة — فلا تُرسل الرسالة نفسها مرّتين متتاليتين، ولا أكثر من رسالة في الثانية، وحدّ الرسالة 300 حرف
• No selling, and no spam or scams
• لا بيع، ولا إزعاج أو احتيال
• Photos in a lobby come from the camera or from one photo you pick, are checked on your phone like any other photo, are seen by the people present, and go when the lobby closes or after 6 hours
• صور اللوبي من الكاميرا أو صورة واحدة تختارها، وتُفحص على جوالك كأي صورة، يراها الحاضرون، وتذهب حين يُغلق اللوبي أو بعد 6 ساعات

Be yourself, and keep others' details private

Don't pretend to be someone else — another member, a public figure, a business, an Admin or the Nowly team. Don't share anyone's private information — a phone number, an address, a photo of a document, where someone lives or works — on the mic or in the chat.

لا تنتحل صفة غيرك — عضوًا آخر، أو شخصية عامة، أو نشاطًا تجاريًا، أو مشرفًا، أو فريق Nowly. ولا تنشر معلومات خاصة بأي شخص — رقم هاتف، أو عنوان، أو صورة وثيقة، أو مكان سكنه أو عمله — لا على المايك ولا في الدردشة.

Who keeps a lobby safe

من يحفظ أمان اللوبي

• The Owner — whose lobby it is — names its Admins, warns people, takes them off the mic, removes them for a while or bans them from the lobby, and can pardon them. A removed person stays out until the term ends or they are pardoned. It is their lobby and their call: there is no appeal to Nowly about it, and your account is not affected — you can enter any other lobby
• صاحب اللوبي — من له اللوبي — يعيّن مشرفيه، ويحذّر الأشخاص، ويُنزلهم من المايك، ويُخرجهم مدةً أو يحظرهم من اللوبي، ويعفوهم. ويبقى المُخرَج خارجًا حتى تنتهي المدّة أو يُعفى عنه. فهو لوبيه وقراره: لا اعتراض عليه لدى Nowly، ولا يتأثّر حسابك — وتستطيع دخول أي لوبي آخر
• Admins are named by the Owner to help run that lobby, with the same tools, at most 40 actions an hour
• المشرفون (Admin) يعيّنهم صاحب اللوبي ليساعدوه في ذلك اللوبي، بالأدوات نفسها، وبحدّ أقصى 40 إجراءً في الساعة
• Nowly volunteers are appointed by the Nowly team. They can mute someone for 10 minutes in an emergency and wipe a message that breaks the rules; they cannot remove or ban, and have no powers in private lobbies
• متطوّعو Nowly يعيّنهم فريق Nowly. يستطيعون كتم شخص 10 دقائق عند الطوارئ ومسح رسالة مخالفة، ولا يُخرجون ولا يحظرون، ولا صلاحية لهم في اللوبيات الخاصة
• The Nowly team can enter any lobby, public or private, for safety and to check reports, and can suspend people from lobbies for 7 or 30 days; banning an account is decided by the owner of Nowly. Every action anyone takes is logged and reviewed

Three warnings within 24 hours take someone off the mic for an hour; five within a week remove them from that lobby for a day.

ثلاثة تحذيرات خلال 24 ساعة تُنزل الشخص من المايك ساعة، وخمسة خلال أسبوع تُخرجه من ذلك اللوبي يومًا.

Reporting someone in a lobby

الإبلاغ عن شخص في اللوبي

Tap their name and choose Report, then pick a reason: insults, harassment, impersonation, sharing private information, hate or extremism, sexual talk, threats or violence, spam or scam, child exploitation or harm, intimate images without consent, or something else. It works in every lobby, whether or not an Admin is there. Your report reaches the Nowly team under your name, and the person is never told who reported them. Their last 30 messages in that lobby, plus 20 messages around the one you reported for context, are kept with the report, so there is something to read even after the chat is gone.

If three different people report the same member within 30 minutes, that member is muted in that lobby for 30 minutes; this automatic mute does not apply to Nowly volunteers. A report of child exploitation or harm hides their messages at once and mutes them in that lobby for a day. Nobody is banned automatically — people decide.

وإذا أبلغ ثلاثة أشخاص مختلفين عن العضو نفسه خلال 30 دقيقة، يُكتم في ذلك اللوبي 30 دقيقة، ولا يسري هذا الكتم التلقائي على متطوّعي Nowly. وبلاغ استغلال طفل أو أذاه يُخفي رسائله فورًا ويكتمه في ذلك اللوبي يومًا كاملًا. ولا يُحظر أحد تلقائيًا — بل يقرّر أفراد الفريق.

No links, anywhere

لا روابط في أيّ مكان

Nowly does not accept links in anything you write — a moment, a comment, a message, a lobby message, your bio, your name, a note, a gift message. Not even links to our own sites, so the rule is never up for debate. Disguised addresses ("example (dot) com") count too.

لا يقبل Nowly الروابط في أيّ نصٍّ تكتبه — لحظة، أو تعليق، أو رسالة، أو رسالة في لوبي، أو نبذتك، أو اسمك، أو ملاحظة، أو رسالة هدية. ولا حتى روابط مواقعنا نحن، كي لا تصير القاعدة محلّ نقاش. والعناوين المموّهة («example نقطة com») تُعدّ روابط أيضًا.

Scams and account theft on apps like this almost always begin with a link in a private message. Refusing every link is simpler, and safer, than chasing the bad ones.

الاحتيال وسرقة الحسابات في تطبيقاتٍ كهذه يبدآن في الغالب برابطٍ في رسالةٍ خاصة. ورفضُ كل رابطٍ أبسطُ وأأمنُ من ملاحقة الروابط السيئة.

Names that belong to someone else

أسماءٌ تخصّ غيرك

You can't take a username that belongs to a company, a well-known app, an international or government body, or any official name — nor a dressed-up copy of one, like "brand_official" or "br4nd.bh". Only the organisation itself can use its name, once it has proved who it is to us with official documents. If you represent one, contact support.

لا يمكنك أخذ اسم مستخدمٍ يخصّ شركة، أو تطبيقًا معروفًا، أو جهةً عالمية أو حكومية، أو أي اسمٍ رسمي — ولا نسخةً مموّهةً منه مثل «brand_official» أو «br4nd.bh». الجهة نفسها وحدها تستعمل اسمها، بعد أن تثبت لنا هويتها بمستنداتٍ رسمية. وإن كنت تمثّل جهةً فتواصل مع الدعم.

Standout usernames — one to four characters, or one letter repeated — are sold only inside the app, with gold coins, once each. Nowly never sells them on the web or through anyone else, so anyone offering to sell you one is not acting for Nowly.

الأسماء المميّزة — من حرف إلى أربعة أحرف، أو حرفٌ واحد مكرّر — تُباع داخل التطبيق فقط بالقطع الذهبية، مرّة لكل اسم. ولا يبيعها Nowly على الويب ولا عن طريق أي أحد، فمن يعرض عليك شراء أحدها لا يتصرّف نيابةً عن Nowly.

The Verified star is not for sale. Only the Nowly team grants it, to well-known people and accounts that have become very popular. Don't pretend to be verified, and don't believe anyone who offers to sell you the star. The gold name that comes with VIP 2 and VIP 3 is not verification either.

نجمة «موثّق» ليست للبيع. لا يمنحها إلا فريق Nowly، للمشهورين وللحسابات التي اشتهرت كثيرًا. فلا تدّعِ التوثيق، ولا تصدّق من يعرض عليك بيع النجمة. والاسم الذهبي الذي يأتي مع VIP 2 وVIP 3 ليس توثيقًا كذلك.

Gifts

الهدايا

A gift is a thank-you, nothing more. Gifts never change where anyone's moments appear, who sees them, or how places rank. A gift message follows these guidelines like everything else you write.

الهدية شكرٌ لا أكثر. فالهدايا لا تغيّر أبدًا موضع ظهور لحظات أحد، ولا من يراها، ولا ترتيب الأماكن. وتخضع رسالة الهدية لهذه الإرشادات كسائر ما تكتبه.

Face-off and friendly rivalry

«واجهني» والمنافسة الودّية

Face-off is one lobby against another, for laughs and pride. Playful throws land on the other side's square, never on a person — keep them light: nothing insulting, dirty, sexual or culturally offensive. If three reports about someone's throws are confirmed within 24 hours, their throwing stops for 24 hours, VIP included. Contests run on fixed published rules: no betting, no chance, no cash.

If you see something

Every post has a report action, and in a lobby you can report anyone by tapping their name. Use it — we read every report and act within 24 hours. If you would rather simply not see someone again, block them; it takes effect immediately and works both ways.

يتضمّن كل منشور خيارًا للإبلاغ، وفي اللوبي تبلّغ عن أي شخص بالضغط على اسمه. استخدمه — فنحن نقرأ كل بلاغ ونتخذ الإجراء خلال 24 ساعة. وإذا كنت تفضّل ببساطة ألا ترى شخصًا ما مجددًا، فاحظره؛ إذ يسري الحظر فورًا وفي الاتجاهين.

If we remove something of yours

إذا حذفنا شيئًا من محتواك

If we remove something of yours, or pause or lock your account, you can ask for a review from the app and a person will look at it again. If the check was wrong, it comes off your record. We would rather correct a mistake than defend one.

إذا حذفنا شيئًا من محتواك، أو أوقفنا حسابك أو قفلناه، فيمكنك طلب المراجعة من داخل التطبيق، وسيعيد أحد أفراد الفريق النظر فيه. وإن كان الفحص مخطئًا، يُرفع من سجلّك. فنحن نفضّل تصحيح الخطأ على الدفاع عنه.

A lobby Owner's decisions in their own lobby are theirs, and results worked out by fixed rules — contests, prizes, ranks — are not appealed. If something looks broken, tell us from Settings.

أمّا قرارات صاحب اللوبي في لوبيه فله، والنتائج المحسوبة بقواعد ثابتة — المنافسات والجوائز والترتيب — لا اعتراض عليها. وإن بدا لك خلل، فأخبرنا من الإعدادات.
